St Andrews SP, FL 2015

ST Andrews SP, FL.   This year we stayed at spot 72 again.  Others my have their favorite spots, but mine is 72.  Next to a small cove.  Large enough to spread out and relax by the fire ring.  Bath houses 1&2 are newer and nicer than the other 2 older ones.

Site # 72

A view down the main road looking both ways

This little guy tried to swallow my daughter..... Never Give Up

The best view in the campground.

Un-touched Sunset views....

Looks like he lost a little bit of an arm..... we called him Stubby

Below is the beach store.... good place to grab a ice cream sandwitch

The Dunes....

Nice catch, but too small to eat.... only one claw, but he was a fighter

St Andrews FL State Park - 2013

The Pearl and the Dutchman... together again.
Jed Clampet would be proud
This is site 141, we camped here one night before moving to #74.    Rookie booking mistake caused this.  Our first time camping multiple campgrounds back to back.   Site 74 was definatly worth the trouble.

Star Fish and Stone Crab ... Anyone??

This is our favorite site #74,  a little breezy but nothing major.
Frog legs anyone?

The morning catch

This Harring was a frequent visitor next to our camp site.   He could stand dead still for a long time.  My guess is that he's an ambush hunter.

What kind of bird was that?

Never pay for a hermit crab.... they are everywhere in Florida.   The gift shops always advertise "Free Hermit Crabs".... they don't advertise that you have to buy a 10 dollar plastic cage to get the free crab... LOL

My daughter is an Ambush Hunter as well.
FL Fish bate....if the fish aren't biting, you've still got dinner.
These little guys are everywhere as well.   Not much meat on them though....

Sand Mermaid
Catching a wave

Boardwalk across the dunes to the beach

We're big Captain America fans... cant you tell
Girl Scouts always practice fire safety.
